Did you know that at the age of 16, St. Patrick was kidnapped from Britain by Irish raiders and carried back to Ireland where he was enslaved for 6 years? After his escape, God eventually called him to return to minister to the people who had at one time been his enemies. St. Patrick used the little three leafed shamrock as a teaching tool to represent the Trinity of God (the three in one). These earrings basically do the same thing... three beads on each earring. Thus, we honor St. Patrick naming these earrings after him.
